As the leading voice for the advancement of girls’ education, the Alliance of Girls’ School Australasia has launched a new Fellowship with the aim of inspiring excellence and innovation in girls’ education and encouraging the expansion of knowledge to benefit students at our member schools.
The Alliance works to promote best-practice in girls’ education through a number of initiatives such as the Roslyn Otzen Award for Exceptional Teaching, annual Research Grant, Honorary Membership and international research opportunities.
The new annual Fellowship, available in 2020, provides AUD10,000 to support outstanding educators from member schools to investigate topics or issues related to girls’ education.
Exclusively available to educators at Alliance member schools, the Fellowship encourages limitless thinking with applicants able to apply for a range of different activity related to the education of girls over the Fellowship period such as (but not limited to):
- the creation of a new program or activity
- research and development
- collaborations
- professional development
- enrichment and learning experiences
- residencies
You cannot apply for the following activity:
- projects or activities that do not involve or benefit girls’ education
- projects or activities that do not have a clearly defined education component
- projects that have already taken place
One Alliance Fellowship will be available for award in 2020.
