Exciting new portal connects students with gap year education employment

Alliance of Girls' Schools Australasia / 02 October 2020

The future plans of students in their final year of school have never been more uncertain. The usual excitement and anticipation around gap year experiences and opportunities at overseas schools will undoubtedly be tempered by the global instability COVID-19 has created.
Pymble Ladies’ College has recognised this and created a new online platform, GAP-X, to connect students with opportunities for gap year employment at schools in Australia and New Zealand.
GAP-X is a destination where students who have finished Year 12 (Aus) and Year 13 (NZ) (called GAP staff) can search and apply for exciting employment opportunities offered by the schools in Australia and New Zealand.

Experiences at participating schools offer GAP students the opportunity to develop work skills, travel and the lifestyle that typically comes with employment abroad. They can spend their GAP year at a school that is interstate, rural or even in the same city, it’s their choice.
