Our purpose is to educate and empower all young women to achieve personal excellence and participate confidently in the 21st century. We strive to create a caring, safe and supportive environment through a philosophy based on mutual respect and positive relationships. Our restorative approach encourages and assists every student to reach her maximum potential. A holistic education provides opportunities for academic, cultural, leadership and sporting success. Therefore, we aim to provide opportunities for all students to participate in, enjoy and excel in all four areas. Student initiatives are encouraged and supported. As a student centred school, we work hard to provide a wealth of opportunities for our students to develop the values, competencies and knowledge required for success. Curriculum options and pathways provide students with the opportunity to achieve academic excellence as well as ensuring a strong foundation for success in tertiary education and the future. Specialist teaching combined with an innovative curriculum ensure that young women develop skills which encourage them to become not only critical and creative thinkers, but also successful life-long learners living in and embracing diverse communities. Emphasis is placed on the qualities inherent in self-management, a strong work ethic and personal responsibility. Participation is expected, endeavour celebrated, diversity respected and teamwork encouraged.
