Iona Presentation College is a Year 7-12 Catholic school for girls with an enrolment of approximately 865 students, including 100 boarders who mostly come from rural WA. Iona Presentation College prides itself on espousing the Presentation values of caring for and educating the poor, nurturing a sense of welcome and hospitality, and the pursuit of excellence. At Iona we offer a comprehensive and inclusive education that nurtures intellectual, emotional, physical, spiritual and religious development, with the goal that young women will graduate with a passion for lifelong learning, a commitment to faith, positive and active contribution to the communities in which they live, and to being all that they can be as individuals. In order to cater for the individual needs of all students, Iona Presentation College has a strong tradition of pastoral care. Our programs provide for students from Indigenous Australian backgrounds and students designated gifted or talented. In the Senior School, strong vocational and university entrance pathways are offered and encouraged. Co-curricular activities cover a broad range of opportunities for leadership and participation in academic competitions, music, dance, drama and sport, and all students participate in the College’s Service Learning program.
