Genazzano FCJ College was established in 1889 by the Sisters, Faithful Companions of Jesus. A Catholic girls’ day and boarding College of over 1100 students from a co-educational Early Learning Centre through Prep to Year 12 (girls only) Genazzano is structured in Stages of Learning: Early Years (ELC to Year 4), Middle Years (Year 5 to 8) and Later Years (Year 9 to VCE). All programs are permeated by the richness and traditions of the Catholic faith, in the Ignatian tradition and the heritage of our Founders. Our students are challenged to live and act with discernment through a comprehensive and structured academic program, quality religious education, an intensive and diverse co-curricular program and active involvement in issues of social justice. Our Boarders are housed in neighbouring Camberwell at Hopetoun Hall, an excellent boarding facility for students in Year 9 and onwards.
