ICGS is excited to embark on a worldwide research study on wellbeing, engagement, and belonging of students in member schools and we would love to include your students’ voices in this groundbreaking study!

We are delighted to partner with Challenge Success, a non-profit school reform organization affiliated with the Stanford University Graduate School of Education that works with school communities to elevate student voice and implement research-based, equity-centered strategies that improve student well-being, belonging, and engagement. Through this partnership, we will collect and analyse actionable data around the wellbeing, engagement, and belonging of students in ICGS schools.

Students will take the 30- to 40-minute-long online survey during the school day that will gather student perspectives on academic engagement, belonging and support at school, health and stress, sleep, family expectations, homework, extracurricular provision, and much more. Surveys are administered digitally during a week of your choosing anytime between September 2023 and April 2024.

How to be involved?

What are the deliverables?

  • Schools will have the opportunity to leverage this data to communicate the unique and powerful benefits of girls’ schools in general, as well as the differentiating factors that exist within their own school communities.
  • Participating schools will receive a copy of the final report and can, for a fee, also access their own specific school data through an intuitive and comprehensive data dashboard.
  • Schools in Australia and New Zealand will, in addition to the global study findings, receive a bespoke regional executive summary and data dashboard focusing exclusively on ICGS member schools in Australia and New Zealand.
