Because I am a Girl
SchoolAid and Plan International have joined together to launch the campaign ‘Because I am a Girl’ in Australian schools. The campaign helps primary school students understand how gender inequality and discrimination impact on girls and young women in many societies.
Digital Divas is a school based program which is designed to build girls’ ICT skills and confidence, increase girls’ motivation to continue studying ICT and enter the ICT workforce. The Digital Divas project is funded from 2009 -2011 through the Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage Scheme.
