St Columba’s College is a 7 to 12 Catholic girls’ school enrolling approximately 1000 students from parishes surrounding the Essendon area where it is located. It has been educating young women in the tradition of the Sisters of Charity for over 115 years. The College maintains a strong commitment to the core values of faith, hope, justice, community, excellence and love of learning. It provides a strong and varied contemporary learning program with a variety of pathways for students. These pathways include VET and VCAL opportunities at the Senior level. This academic program is supported by a broad and extensive co-curricular program. The performing arts, particularly music and dance, feature prominently in these offerings, and are highly regarded and valued by the community. Our academic program is underpinned by an extensive vertical pastoral care system that includes house teachers, house leaders and school counsellors. The Faith Development program provides each student with opportunities to enrich their relationship with God and to explore their own personal spirituality.
