Scholarships for SLC 2022
The Alliance of Girls’ Schools Australasia will provide up to five scholarships for students to participate in the Alliance Student Leadership Conference from 10 January to 12 January 2022.
Students applying for a scholarship must be in their final year of secondary school and hold a leadership position in their school. Each scholarship will cover the registration costs and all conference activities and materials.
Each member school may nominate one student for a scholarship.

The Alliance is committed to enhancing leadership opportunities for young women. The scholarship will assist a student in her final year of secondary school in 2022, nominated by the principal, who wishes to attend the Alliance Student Leadership Conference.
The scholarship will cover the conference registration and payment of AUD300 towards travel expenses to attend the in-person event in the location closest to the student’s home. A total of five scholarships will be offered to students who attend schools that are financial members of the Alliance.
To be eligible to be considered for the Alliance Scholarship, the student must satisfy at least two (applicants do not have to satisfy all five criteria) of the following criteria:
- be an Indigenous Australian or New Zealand Maori
- reside more than 200 km from the conference venue. The Alliance will contribute up to AUD300 toward travel expenses
- attend an Alliance school that has not previously participated in the SLC
- be committed to her studies
- be otherwise unable to afford the registration fee for the conference.
Member schools of the Alliance may nominate one student taking into account the criteria listed above. The Alliance will select successful students and will notify the school. Nomination forms and more information available from (e) [email protected] or (t)617 55210749
