To address the growing calls for broader and business focused training for school leaders and aspiring principals, Bond University has recently developed an Executive Graduate Certificate in Leadership (Education).

This program is focused on organisational leadership and business management, and involves the completion of four subjects which can be achieved in a six-month period.

From the four subjects of the program, students will be able to choose two Master of Business Administration (MBA) subjects that will benefit their skills development in the most appropriate areas of business management. Studying with business leaders from outside of the education sector will provide different insights into leading and managing a business. Credits towards a MBA can be gained through these courses.

Study for this Executive Graduate Certificate is through intensive mode on campus (Saturday and Sunday) and the first core subject, Executive Leadership: Emerging Leadership Frameworks, will be offered on the weekend of 1 and 2 September, 2018. This first subject is followed by two MBA or Executive MBA subjects and then the final core subject Executive Leadership: Leading Innovation.

Those wishing to commence the course can do so at the intensive weekend at Bond University on Saturday, 1 and Sunday, 2 September, 2018. The cost for this subject is $2,657 and includes the coursework for the weekend, the virtual classroom following the intensive weekend and the assessment. Educators interested in this can enrol through Kathie Parkinson, MBA and Executive MBA Coordinator, Bond Business School, 07 5595 1156 or [email protected].
