COVID-19 has disrupted schools’ travel plans, from international conferences and local networking to overseas travel expeditions and exchange programs. As we return to face-to-face teaching and learning, overseas travel remains off the agenda and is likely to be so for sometime.
Exchanges within Australasia
While it may not be possible to travel overseas, travel within Australia and New Zealand could be viable in 2021. With 185 member schools the Alliance is well placed to facilitate exchanges between our girls’ schools. If an exchange within Australasia is something your school is considering, connect with like-minded schools and start planning by visiting: https://www.agsa.org.au/exchange-opportunities/
Exchange programs — for educational, professional, or cultural purposes — connect an ever-widening circle of students and educators with their counterparts around the world. Exchanges create opportunities, broaden minds, provide lifelong benefits for participants, open conversations and build enduring connections with others, and encourage leadership aspirations among participants.
