Fearless Girls Strong Women | Select your school visit option

If you have booked a attend the school visits there are two options to select from. Please click here to register your choice.

Option 1: Visit St Mary’s College and St Aloysius College

Both colleges are located in Adelaide’s CBD, and between them educate over 2000 students from Reception (5 years old) to Year 12. Both schools pride themselves on educating young women who actively engage in creating a more just world. Through social justice, student leadership, service learning and immersion programs, students become aware of the challenges facing our society, both locally and globally, and develop confidence in tackling these challenges in meaningful ways.

The tour will profile some of these programs and will involve interaction with key staff and students in each school.

Option 2: Visit St Peter’s Girls’ School, Mary MacKillop College and Loreto College Marryatville

St Peter’s Girls opened a new Middle School and Library in 2017. The ‘wish list’ included natural light and transparency — a design that would bring the ‘outside in’ so that teaching and learning would be visible and flexibility. Our Head of Middle School will show you through the new facility and talk about the learning framework which underpins the design.

At Mary MacKillop visitors will tour our Year 12 common room and study area. The Deputy Principal, Helen Steele will give a short presentation on developing student leadership.

Lastly, Loreto Principal Dr Nicole Archard will explain the college’s focus on incorporating outdoor learning experiences into the curriculum to develop children’s learning in Junior School and Early Years settings.

School visits depart from the InterContinental Hotel, North Terrace at 8.30 am, please meet your group in the foyer by 8.15 am. Buses will return to the hotel by 12.30 pm.
