2020 is not the year our student leaders envisioned, many of their plans have been turned upside down and there is still change and uncertainty ahead. To help our student leaders navigate these changes we are inviting them to connect with like-minded girls from around the world.
Connecting with other young leaders will help students to reimagine their leadership year and provide an opportunity to share their ideas and experience with each other.
The webinar will be led by the same highly engaging, professional and energetic team at yLead who has successfully delivered our annual Student Leadership Conference (SLC) for the past 6 years.
Students will take part in live activities designed to support, inspire and encourage them, they will have the opportunity to pose questions ahead of time, ask questions during the session, and hear from a live panel comprising current and past student leaders, experts and mentors.
What topics will be discussed?
- Leading in times of challenge
- Managing a team through change
- Reframing expectations and maintaining positivity
- Resilience
- Mindset and focus
- Adapting to uncertainty
Attendees of the webinar will also be invited to join an exclusive Facebook group where can continue to foster bonds, share ideas and lean on each other during their time in isolation and once they return to school.
Each Alliance member school may nominate two student leaders currently in their final year of high school to participate in this interactive webinar experience.
