The past few months have undeniably been the busiest and potentially most stressful of many principals’ careers. In addition to the regular work-related sources of stress, COVID-19 has added many new challenges as principals seek to guide their teams and schools through a period of uncertainty.
How can principals care for themselves whilst managing these unprecedented times?
Dr Steve Bagi will take you through a specialised webinar to look at some of the extra challenges that principals have been facing due to the COVID-19 pandemic and how these challenges can impact wellbeing. He will explore the warning signs of burnout and help principals increase their sense of wellbeing.
This is a free, member-only event exclusively for principals. Registration is now closed. If you would like your name to be placed on the waiting list please email [email protected]
About Dr Steve Bagi
Steve is a consulting psychologist who specialises in strengths-based leadership and team development in Independent schools and corporate teams throughout Australia. His PhD in Educational Leadership focused on the challenges faced by beginning principals of Independent schools. This has led him to be involved in a number of ‘aspiring leaders’ and ‘principal preparation’ programs.
Steve is also an adjunct lecturer at Bond University where he is currently teaching ‘Leadership and Team Dynamics’. Prior to his consultancy role Steve served as a pastor for over twenty years, during which time he was also a board member in an Independent school.
