This highly anticipated annual event is designed to bring students from Years 10-12 and their teachers together to celebrate the importance of International Women’s Day.
Our guest speaker is Catherine O’Sullivan, CEO of RMIT Training.
RMIT Training, a company of RMIT University, provides educational solutions and program pathways to students, academics and professionals across Asia Pacific. Catherine O’Sullivan joined RMIT Training as an esteemed, senior educational leader with an outstanding career in innovative education service delivery after holding numerous senior positions across the education sectors, as well as in state and Commonwealth governments. Her past experience includes: Principal of a rural High School; Queensland State Manager for Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations; Assistant Director-General (Regional Delivery) for Queensland Government’s Department of Primary Industries and Fisheries; Executive Director of Schools for Education Queensland; Pro Vice-Chancellor of Pathways and Partnerships at Bond University, and most recently Director of Industry, Innovation and Employability at Laureate International University.
Catherine is highly respected for her expertise and exceptional career success to combine educational service delivery with operational strategy and policy to pioneer impactful educational and employment initiatives.
Tickets: Only full tables are availabile for purchase, and each table can seat 10 guests. Capacity is limited so tables are sold on a first come, first serve basis.
Please note: Doors to Queen’s Hall open at 7.30 am to allow sufficient time to complete the security process. Security screening is similar to airport process. Accompanying staff should collect any sharp objects such as scissors from students, place in a clearly labelled bag and hand to security. This will assist in making the process faster on arrival and also on departure when collecting items. School blazers should be removed while waiting in the line as these will need to go through the scanner. There is no provision for storing school bags at the venue, however, they can be placed under your table.
The breakfast begins at 8.30am and guests should be in the room by 8.00am.
