The National Coalition of Girls' Schools (NCGS)
The National Coalition of Girls' Schools (NCGS) was established in the US in 1990. It is an association of girls' independent and public, day and boarding schools across America.
NCGS members share a commitment to the values and benefits of single-sex schools for girls, and a belief that all girls, regardless of educational setting, deserve the opportunity to realise their potential, to be active and equal, confident and competent leaders, participants and contributors.
Girls' Schools Association (GSA)
The Girls' Schools Association is the professional association representing the Heads of leading independent girls' schools in the UK. Their mission is to inform and influence national educational debate, to raise awareness of the benefits of single-sex education for girls, to promote high standards of education for girls and to support members through the provision of a broad range of services.
The GSA also contains the MyDaughter website, which is dedicated to providing information, expert opinion and useful advice on all aspects of raising and educating happy, fulfilled girls.
