Since its foundation in 1890, Korowa Anglican Girls’ School has been recognized as one of Victoria's leading independent schools. Our focus is on the individual student, seeking to assist each child to reach their full potential, wherever that may lie. Our VCE results consistently place Korowa in the top band of schools across the State. We are proud of our students' academic achievements as Korowa is a non-selective school. And we are equally proud of our students' outstanding achievements on the sporting field, in the performing arts and in the laboratory. Support programs are in place at all age levels for very able students and also for those experiencing difficulties. Our 3 and 4 year old ELC is co-educational, with our Prep - Year 12 classes for girls only. Our student enrolment is around 700 so each child is known and valued as an individual. Nestled in Glen Iris, Korowa's first-rate facilities include purpose-built pre-school, Junior School and Middle School buildings as well as a dedicated VCE Centre and modern science, library and art facilities. Korowa offers a balanced, contemporary curriculum. The IBO Primary Years Program leads on to our unique Middle School curriculum. An extensive range of VCE subjects are offered as well as a diverse co-curriculum program.
