Genazzano is a Catholic girls' college established in Kew in 1889 by the Sisters, Faithful Companions of Jesus. Over 1100 students from Prep to Year 12 attend Genazzano which is permeated by the richness and traditions of the Catholic faith and the heritage of our founders. The College is a community of faith, aiming to instil in each student a passion for life, a love of learning and the courage and the confidence to serve others. The College aims to achieve this through a comprehensive and structured academic program, quality religious education, an intensive and diverse co-curricular program, and active involvement in issues of social justice. Our curriculum operates within a Stages of Learning framework, Early Years (Prep to Year 4), Middle Years (Year 5 to 8) and Later Years (Year 9 to VCE). The College has off-campus boarding facilities in Camberwell for students in Year 9 and onwards. The College operates with state-of-the-art learning areas and ongoing school improvement ensures that our students have an education of excellence in which the gifts and talents of individuals are recognised and developed with facilities that support contemporary approaches to learning and teaching.
