Fintona Girls' School is a Kindy to Year 12, non-denominational day school, based on Christian values. Our School caters for individual student needs through a broad-based education program, which provides for intellectual, social, physical, moral, ethical, spiritual and aesthetic development. The Junior School curriculum is based on the IB Primary Years Program and our Middle and Senior Schools provide a stimulating range of subjects including three languages, a varied elective program and a full complement of VCE subjects. Fintona's academic results and university enrolments consistently place us amongst the top schools in Victoria and students excel in a range of co- and extra-curricula activities such as the performing arts, public speaking, debating, Science Talent Search and Tournament of Minds. The School also offers a range of trips - language based, outdoor education, environmental, social service and adventure. A commitment to pastoral care is central to the Fintona ethos and we seek to develop and maintain a community where staff, students and their families work together and are respected as individuals. Social justice is an active part of life at Fintona, engaging students in recognising the needs of others and what it means to be a 'civil' member of a community.
